Yusef Crowder, Woodcarver, West African Percussionist, Artisan, born In Monroe, NC. Co-Director of African Arts
Ensemble (one of the premier African dance ensembles in the country) from 1974-1976. Traveled and lived in several
West African countries during the late 70’s where he learned the traditional art of woodcarving. Returned to American in 1989.
He currently resides in East Point, carving and drumming.

I’m Carla, founder and independent designer of Raggs Designs & Accessories. I started this journey with a passion and a keen eye to make something different for myself and decided I would create a business In2008. Over the years, I have been given opportunities to showcase my work from festivals to art galleries, charitable events, and private parties. I’m still amazed!!! This has been a wonderful and therapeutic journey. My work has brought joy to many repeat clients, good conversations, and best of all great friendships.
